The "Boss" is one of the Charter Board of Directors of the Eastside Volleyball Club and has been involved in running/playing competitive volleyball for nearly 20 years. He currently works for Caterpillar Incorporated in IT Management. His strong points with the club are his leadership and organizational skills. What he likes most is to see the increase in the level of play and the advancement of the players, on the flip side he dislikes doing anything without effort. "Engagement and Effort" are his favorite words. He loves to try and use 6 Sigma for problem solving with the club!

The "Money Lady" has been at the helm of the finances for nearly 7 years. Prior to being the financial watch dog, she was in intricate part of the planning for the Eastside VBC. She played volleyball for Washington High School, and is the person that got Tim interested in volleyball. In her day "'ole Lefty" had one of the wickedest serves. She has traded in her serving talents and now is better known for preparing our food for our tournaments. She currently is self employed as a Daycare Provider so she can work volleyball also.

He is also known by many as "Barney". He started playing recreation volleyball 10 years ago. He has been tasked with recruiting because he knows what it takes to get the players exposed and signed and along the way he has learned to coach from one of our best (Jennifer Bartlett) and has 2 years experience coaching the 14U Elite team. He attended ICC and ISU and played baseball with Jim Thome. He works for CampusTown Supply in Normal. He likes to work in the yard and watch sports of all kinds and really dislikes dishonest and mean people.

Doug has retired from the Board of Directors. Eastside VBC appreciates his years of service and look forward to using him in his Emeritis status as a sanity check for our future programming.
He was previously the Financial Secretary of a labor union for 4 years before coming to us. Volunteerism is no secret to Doug, as he was instrumental in starting up a golf outing named in honor of the labor union's long time president. He fell in love with volleyball when his two daughters started playing at a young age and he and his wife Carol have enjoyed watching and traveling with the daughters teams through college. He lives in Delevan and has worked in the Quality Control Lab at Degussa for 18 years.
